Trained in cognitive, behavioral, family system, developmental, motivational, mindfulness-based and interpersonal therapeutic clinical assessment and intervention techniques, I work across public and private sectors. My PhD in Client-Involved Tele-Mental Health at The University of Melbourne is almost complete

One of my strengths in health, human services or clinical roles over time, is my ability to make the conceptual practical. I actively build and maintain relationships through engagement with communities, industry, teaching and research.

 

Professional history includes senior public-sector mental health practice management, private consulting, academic teaching and learning development. I am completing my PhD in Client-Involved Tele-Mental Health at The University of Melbourne because of strong interest in teaching and learning innovation.

 

 

 

 

Practice complexity requires multi-dimensional theoretical frameworks, cultural appreciation and worker self-awareness. Information-gathering, transparent and ethical decision making, clarification of role / boundaries, trauma informed case-management, appreciation of community diversity and worker self-care were embedded in my teaching / graduate programs at UoM.
